BACKGROUND
While describing these are being 'used', I am erring on the side of caution, these 7 segment displays were taken from our workshop spare parts drawers but I am unsure if they were used or not - to be 'safe' I will assume these are used (in which case they would have been extractions from sockets, no solder has ever touched these leads!)
These are the basic 7 (with the decimal point) segment displays with no associated driver electronics.

No identification is marked anywhere on the package regarding the manufacturer, just what appear to be a batch code and year code (08 possibly indicated 2008)

There doesn't appear to be a 'Pin 1' identifier but in any case, Pin 1 is the furthermost to the left when looking at the side with the identification printing.
Standard pinout for this device (originally Fairchild produced these but as they became a standardised product, many other manufacturers produced these)
TESTING:
Whether NEW or USED, I make it a point to test each component (where possible) for full functionality ...
A bit fiddly but I connected all segments to a test 2V supply, pins 3 & 8 being the cathodes (-)
All display segments lit up as they should and the light intensity was the same across all segments and the decimal place dot.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Clean
All pins look to be fine, perhaps just slightly dulled but I had no issues when I was undertaking the testing above.
NO physical damage to any of the LED modules
I have now placed each module onto a bed of styrofoam and then within a sealed, clear plastic packet.
