Another trip down memory lane, one of our OLD S-Video VTR (Video Tape Recorder) leads ... I don't think there is much of the S-Video equipment around these days but perhaps someone needs such a lead!
Used to carry separate analog video signals (Luminance (brightness) and Chrominance (color)) to achieve improved video quality.
NO audio is carried by this lead

Industry standard 4 pin mini DIN male ~ 4 pin mini DIN male
Gold plated connectors at each end, as are the contact pins
A note about the cable, it is quite rigid not soft and pliable like a good microphone lead. The cable used in stamped as Audio Technica product, something called their CERAMIC range ... see one of the photographs for the sheath printing

TESTING:
As I could not remove either connector housing to take a look inside, I DC resistance tested at each end of the cable and can confirm that all measures fine i.e Pin 1 to Pin 1 and the two signal Ground pins (Pin 1 & 2) are also connected to the bodies of each connector plug.
