These loudspeaker terminal, plate mounted posts have been removed from various loudspeaker systems which were deemed to be beyond restoration.
Why "part out" such components?
I am very much "into" sustainability, a manufactured component (no matter how small) represents an appreciable amount of embedded energy and to waste that embedded energy is a very bad thing, even worse is to bury it in landfill and subsequently poison our environment!
What is embedded energy?
Embedded energy is a measurement of the total energy that was used to create a component, a module or a complete piece of equipment originally and should include all processes used in the manufacture of the item, from obtaining the raw materials, processing them, making the product and then shipping to another manufacturer in the "chain" or being supplied directly to stores as a finished product for retail sale.

Country of origin is Taiwan (stamped into the rear of the plates)
Type: Push release spring loaded
Terminal colours: Black & Red
Terminal contact material looks to be Nickel plated
Circular mounting plate is Black plastic
Terminals use standard male spade connectors
DIMENSIONS:
Circular plate: 74mm diameter x 30mm front to rear (tip of the terminal spades)
4x pre-formed 3mm diameter mounting holes for the plates and in fact I have kept (and will supply) the mounting screws! All ready to go!
Entry hole at the spring loaded terminals is a rectangular shape measuring 4mm x 2.5mm

NO damage at all to either terminal set
Springs within the terminals operate well, with a strong pressure applied inside the terminal upon the inserted wire.
These are offered as the set of two, not individually.
Each plate with the terminals installed is within a sealed clear plastic pack, supplied as a set of two plates.
