DLAT Rating 9/10 (Darling Look At This!)

SALISBURY Bone China

Side Plate ONLY

China is opaque, meaning that when held to the light you cannot see through the material

We do currently have the trio but in the interests of offering the greatest number of options to those interested in these, each item is advertised separately ... take a look HERE

Pure white base with a high lustre

Design is Plum Primroses with foliage arranged in a grouping of two flower designs around the plate

Gold gilding has been applied to the edge scalloped rim

Artwork appears to be transferware and this is supported by no artists marks on the backstamp

DIMENSIONS:

172mm diameter

Backstamp is printed in a pale blue

BONE CHINA

SALISBURY (set to run at a diagonal)

(Crown graphic)

ENGLAND

The backstamp suggests this side plate is a product from the 1970's, not long before Salisbury closed down.

COSMETIC CONDITION:

NO cracks

NO crazing

NO discolouration EXCEPT I can see two TINY faint dots (or similar) on the china topside. I cannot shift them with a clean at all. Take a look at the photograph and do a "Where's Wally" hunt for these marks, they are VERY difficult to see and find.

Gold gilding to the scalloped outer rim is in very good condition, practically NO WEAR

Very nice side plate and when part of a trio, a stunning alternative to the much more common "standard roses" themed trio's

USED Exactly as described
