Robert Gordon Pottery is based in Victoria and has been in operation for many years in various forms.
Considered quite collectable Australiana but we need the space for our English fine china so this vase must find a new home.
Actually we have another Robert Gordon if you would like to take a look HERE
ROBERT GORDON POTTERY
Design: Floral (a mix of roses, bluebells with prolific foliage)
Pale yellow background wash is applied to the outside of the vase, varying in intensity from top to bottom, with the centre being the most intense background colour.
Transferware decorations
Finished with Gold feathered gilding around the top rim only
Circa 1990's (we purchased a few pieces of Robert Gordon's around the late 1990's)
Medium size vase
Measures: 140mm height x 110mm diameter at the widest point. In my opinion this is a small to medium size vase.
Mouth opening is 75mm and the throat is 35mm diameter
BACKSTAMP DETAILS:
Metallic (Gold coloured) printed back stamp

COSMETIC CONDITION:
NO chips
NO cracks
NO discolouration
NO crazing to the glaze
NOTE: I suspect the Gold gilding has been hand applied and at first glance, I thought a piece of the Gold gilding was missing around the rim but upon looking closer, this is the result of a "slip of the hand" - that human touch!
