Yet more audio cables from the workshop racks, another cable which was only used a few times as a "loaner" when an artist was due to perform and they had discovered a cable (or two) missing ... we came to the rescue in such cases
This is a Stagg speaker lead, typically used in on-stage situations, connecting the amp head with medium powered speaker systems, typically running up to around 500W RMS.
STAGG - PA Speaker Lead
Country of origin SHOULD be Belgium but I cannot confirm this as the sheath does not indicate the country of manufacture. In fact, although this is marked as a Stagg lead I do wonder a little as I was expecting something like Neutrik connectors to be fitted but the connectors on this lead appear to be generic.
Single channel (one pair of wires) i.e for PA systems
9 metres length
Nice, Black all metal jack plug, unusually with a Gold plated tip (only) - no identification at all on this plug.
Standard solder connections on this jack
The Speakon 4 pole, latching connector also "looks right" but does not have any manufacturer identification either
Screw down connectors on the Speakon
Nice flexible cable, 6.75mm OD, identification printed in White on the sheath (repeated at intervals) is Stagg PURE SOUND CABLES
2x heavy duty multistrand conductors - THERE IS NO BRAID of course
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED (not often though)
CLEAN
Carefully checked the entire length for any cable damage, there is none at all.
Both connectors are also fine.
This speaker lead has now been packed into a sealed clear plastic packaging, awaiting to begin a new life!
