Ex workshop stock
This lead has been checked both in operation and wiring as we had a number of "custom" audio leads and I wanted to make sure exactly which type of audio lead this is ...
This short patch lead is wired "stock standard" i.e Pin 1 to Pin 1, Pin 2 to Pin 2 etc
PATCH LEAD - For balanced audio use
Custom made in our audio production workshops, although quite some time ago (eons!)
Cannon (old style with the rubber boot, cable screw down clamp, Silver plated pins) XLR 3 Pin male connector
to
SQ (SquarePlug, France) Black latching XLR 3 pin female connector
Cable used is not identifiable (no markings on the sheath at all but it has a distinctive Gold coloured sheath)
Wiring between each end of the patch lead is straight through i.e 1 to 1, 2 to 2 and 3 to 3
Standard colour coding of Red (Hot), White and cable copper braid
Cable length is 50cm only (patch lead)
All terminations are soldered not crimp type
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
CLEAN
Although it is not hard to see that this patch lead has seen quite a bit of use over the years (plug and socket scuff marks) there is no physical damage to either end nor the cable sheath (no cuts or nicks)
This patch lead is now packed into a sealed clear plastic packet
