BACKGROUND:
We try our best to take into account sustainability ... keeping or finding new uses for old things which may still have a worthwhile purpose.
These were one of the children's comic books that they had in the early 2000's. Recently we were asked (finally) to clear out their old stuff from the childhood days and initially they just wanted things like these comics turfed into the recycling bin. We did some research and it appears that some collectors are still after these so we came to a compromise with our son, instead of throwing them out we would see if someone else wanted them and if (after a reasonable time) no-one was interested, then we would send them off for recycling.
So here we go ... I believe this is just a small part of what he originally had but this is all we have found so far.

The series appears to have begun in 2003
There used to be a website (http://www.jackie-chan-magazine.co.uk/) but not surprisingly, this seems to be no longer in use.
It appears that this series of Jackie Chan comics featured comic strip stories, puzzles, crosswords along with collector cards depicting both the bad and good guys plus a number of talismans (metallic discs with magical powers) that the owner could wear.
Each comic is in a large format (274mm H x 217mm W) and comprised roughly 28 pages
Each comic was purchased in Australia although pricing on each copy is shown in UK £ (started off as 99p for Issue 1 then went up to £1.99 for the other issues

I would personally consider this copy to be in very good condition

I can see what appears to be some front page crumpling but no tears or discolouration
I can also clearly see that our son HAS attempted to write in the crossword puzzle section in Blue pen. No other pages have "user writing or marks"
I would personally consider this copy to be in fair ~ good condition and certainly not "mint" due to the crossword section being filled in!

HOWEVER ... pretty obviously our son has pulled off the previously included Talisman and taken some of the front page graphics with it! No other damage to this comic though

Marketing Issue & Paraphernalia
No comic strip in this copy, it appears to be a marketing issue and it explores the upcoming magazines, collector cards, talismans and unfolds to a large 650mm W x 560mm H poster which promotes the various talisman's and has a check list for the card collector
