My wife hands me these two pieces from Colclough, not a trio or even a duo but perhaps someone has the same pattern and needs a replacement ...

Fine bone china
Circa 1940's period
Translucent china, meaning that when held to the light, you can see the shadow of your fingers through the chinaware
Hand decorated
Base colouring topside is a lemon Yellow with a bright White underside
Pattern is not identified on either of these pieces, comprised of multicoloured "flowers of the garden", one decoration being more elaborate than the other on each piece.
Hand applied Gold gilding has been used to finish the pieces around the scalloped rims and in the central area of each piece.

The following relates to BOTH pieces equally ...
CLEAN
NO cracks
NO discolouration or wear to the decorations
NO cuts or knife marks to the central area of either piece
NO crazing observed (wet & dry checked)
Gold gilding is in good condition generally although around the rims of either piece I can see some light signs of usage over the years ... not serious wear but it can be noticed. The central area double ring circular Gold gilding is in a similar condition, being not all worn away but just a light sign of usage wear (the Gold looks just slightly different when looking around the rings)
On the underside, the saucer has one small non-discoloured fleabite and the side plate has three which are also completely non-discoloured.
