Screw on rear section is primarily Black thermo plastic with a small rubber strain relief fitted
Slot for locking if the mating socket has a latch fitted
Inside is a special Blue plastic compression cable clamp intended for use with IDC wiring.

IDC (insulation displacement) "punch down" terminals - you will need a tool to use these OR simply solder to the terminals directly (Silver plated)
