Such a great album, the band's debut and the only album featuring founding member Vince Clarke - for me, this is the REAL sound of Depeche Mode

Oh, I also remember the T.I. toy, Speak n Spell!

DEPECHE MODE - Speak & Spell

Mute - Liberation Records

Cat# D 30434

1990

Australian release (reissue with 5 bonus tracks)

CD case, front cover and rear inlay are in very good condition with no personal writing.

NOTE: This is one of the releases with the Festival sticker placed over the barcode on the rear inlay, indicating this is catalogue D 19619

CD media is in good condition, visually inspected under a bright White halogen light source and I can only see a couple of very light scratches on the media. Just looking at the disc is not a great way to judge the condition so I then played the ENTIRE album and there are no issues playing any track at all - great play!

TRACKS: New Life, Sometimes I Wish I Was Dead, Puppets, Boys Say Go!, Nodisco, What's Your Name?, Photographic, Tora! Tora! Tora!, Big Muff, Any Second Now (Voices), Just Can't Get Enough
