BACKGROUND:
My wife "collects" but is changing which type of china/porcelain she wants (she is now focused on pre-1900's figurines & art china) and she has been hard at work "clearing out" her massive collection.
Now most of the chinaware are at least duo's or trio's but she is also finding those sad looking (Yes, we treat the chinaware as though it is "family") orphans i.e pieces which have become separated from their "partners" due to some sort of mishap - that's life but we have always told them that "one day" they will find another family to live with ... these pieces are some more of the orphans that have their bags packed and are ready to venture into the wide, wide world in the hope of meeting their mate (a saucer!)

Being fine bone china, all of these pieces are translucent (you can easily see the shadow of your fingers through the china when held up to a strong light source)

(1) Royal Albert
TEACUP
Pattern: Lavender Rose
Transferware decoration
Background colour is clean, bright White
Design: A classic & timeless Pink roses with Mauve & Green foliage, placed on opposing sides of the teacup with one decoration being much more extensive than the other. Inside the mouth of the teacup is a single rose with foliage.
Shape: Fluted sides with a scalloped top rim and a high arch Queen Anne style handle.

NO observable wear to Gold gilding, this means around the rim, the rear and top of the handle and the double ring around the foot.

SIDE PLATE
Pattern: Lavender Rose
Transferware decoration
Background colour is clean, bright White
Design: A classic & timeless Pink roses with Mauve & Green foliage, placed on three opposing sides of the plate with one decoration being much more extensive than the other two.
Shape: Wide fluted rim with a scalloped top rim
