Removed from equipment some time ago, I did not record nor am I able to recall which equipment this knob was used in.
UNIDENTIFIED MANUFACTURER - Plastic Knob
Country of manufacture is unknown (but I suspect Japan)
The body is shaped with a wide flange around the base.
This flange has a diamond shaped pointer printed in White directly onto the plastic
Top insert is Aluminium but it is not solid but instead a disc of Aluminium attached to the plastic underneath.
Inside, the shaft bush is metal, as is the slot head grub screw (just one)
Designed for use with D shaped 1/4" control shafts and probably not so good with a completely round shaft as there is only one securing grub screw.
The sides of the plastic knob are vertically ribbed, making for an easy grip
DIMENSIONS:
Knob body (top section) is 24.85mm OD x 17.5mm height
The flange is wide and at the base of the knob it measures 39mm OD, with a very slight bevel shaping downwards.

NO damage to the Black plastic body at all i.e no splits or cracks
NO significant marking or scratches to the top Aluminium insert but I can see a light discolouration of the White pointer diamond on the flange ... not heavy discolouration or fading but the White does not appear to be completely even.
The inside metal bush is secure and the thread for the steel grub screw is also clean.
This interesting knob from "way back when" is now safely tucked to bed in a sealed clear plastic packet, waiting to adorn another front panel.
