Removed from a now obsoleted security applicance
FSP GROUP - Low Profile (1RU) Power Supply

Rated: 300W Total Outputs
AC input: 100 - 240V
47 - 63Hz
DC Outputs: +3.3V, +5V, +12V, +12V2, +5Vab, -12V
20 & 8 pin sockets
Molex standard & SATA power plugs
Slim construction specifically for 1RU mounting - external wall or internal mount (the original L bracket is included but is easy to remove if this does not suit the new owner.
Dimensions: 194mm length x 100mm wide x 40mm height (the length excludes the small L bracket at one end)
Extremely low noise operation
Cooling fan locations are one at the IEC socket (sucking air in) and the opposite end, blowing air out
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
Clean
NO damage to the PSU casing
NO damage to the myriad of cables and connectors
TESTING:
Removed from fully functional but obsoleted equipment but I still like to check that all is well with the components I remove so I have made some basic observations and voltage tests.
NO squeaks or other fan rotational noises - actually very quiet running
I had another one of these which I have installed in another appliance I wish to keep but I did take a look inside to view the construction standards used and I must say I was impressed! One of the best built SMPS I have seen, it is no wonder these are considered with high regard.
Basic Voltage Tests:
As the power supply is not connected to a motherboard, I forced it to "turn on" by shorting the Green wire to Earth.
+3.3V Measures 3.27V
+5V Measures 5.1V
+12V Measures 11.7V
+12V2 Measures 11.7V
+5Vab Measures 4.93V
-12V Measures -11.9V
All voltages measured under "no load" conditions, well almost no load - the fans will suck just a tiny bit of current from the supply.
Fans both running, although you would hardly know it as they run very quietly but you can see the blades rotating.
I have now packed this PSU into a sealed clear plastic packet while it awaits a new purpose in life!
