BACKGROUND:
Oh my word! Yes, the days of low voltage/current electromechanical relay switching have long since passed, principally replaced by SSR's or semiconductors for lower currents such as audio and signalling but a relay (or two) can still be found in older industrial equipment and audio power amplifiers (and we did use this type of relay in a couple of Sherwood amps from years ago - output protection circuits) but there are still situations where a nice old fashioned electromechanical relay can provide a simple solution to a switching problem.
The company, Takamisawa, had a long long history as it began their operations way back in 1917. Some time later, they "partnered" with Fujitsu and eventually (as so often happens with this sort of partnership) they were swallowed up by the partner and became part of Fujitsu.
FUJITSU (Japan) are well known manufacturers of high quality electromechanical switching components (I seem to remember one of the first Crossbar Telephone Exchange switching systems installed in NZ were from FUJITSU way back in the 1980's)
Moving into the current day, this type of relay product from Fujitsu is often marked as FCL (Fujitsu Component Limited)
TAKAMISAWA (JAPAN) - Power Relay
Made in Japan
Construction: Closed Frame, Epoxy sealed
SERIES: VB
Type: 24 MB TV-3
24V DC Coil
DPST
Contact material is Silver & Tin (special formulation created by Fujitsu to resist contact welding effects)
Contact is rated to carry up to 5A @ 250V AC (resistive load) or 24V DC
PCB pin mounting
***The contact rating and material used was gleaned from the datasheets although some assumptions had to be made because there isn't a complete part number on the side of this relay enclosure

DIMENSIONS:
29mm W x 12.85mm D x 24.6mm H
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW Old Stock
Always stored in the suppliers original 'relay carrier' and now also within sealed clear plastic.
NO oxidisation to the PCB pins is evident
