CULT SCI-FI MEMORABILIA
Yes, I admit to being bit of a Doctor Who fan although my days of watching the show on television go way way back to the first few doctors, part of what is now called the Classic Series.
Some 50 odd years later I was amazed to see this mug while travelling and just had to bring it home. Fifteen years later it still just sits on the study shelf and as we are trying to downsize everything, foreseeing a future where we do not have the space for all of our 'stuff", this mug (along with a lot of other things) needs to find a new home that will appreciate what it represents.
This Police Box has never seen a drop of coffee, actually a friend told me that to try and fill it would be a useless exercise as everyone (Well, Doctor Who fans anyway) knows that the inside of the Tardis is not normal because the Tardis is actually the result of advanced Time Lord technology and it uses trans-dimensional engineering to fold a near-infinite interior into a small, exterior shell (the Police Box) Pretty neat huh? So you (in theory) could pour your hot water into this coffee mug ad-infinitum and it would never become full. The ultimate "endless cup of coffee" or so the story goes.
