OLD used workshop stock
I am cleaning up ALL the various leads, patch cables etc that we had on hand hanging in the audio workshop area.
ALL have been professionally assembled, using high quality components, no point in testing pro audio gear with dodgy leads!
Here is one of those leads ...
XLR ~ RCA AUDIO ADAPTER LEAD
3 Pin XLR Male to RCA (Phono) male
Stamped with a triangle and coded SC3M - although this code was usually used by Rean or Neutrik, the logo stamped into the body is not from either of the latter manufacturers.
Belden-M 9451 cable interconnect, 2.2 metres length
Connections:
XLR:
Black Pin 2
Red Pin 3
Drain (shield) Pin 1
RCA:
Centre Pin Black & Red strapped together
Body: Shield or Drain connection
This Belden 9451 cable has extensive identification stamping on the sheath (relates the the various standards etc) and is quite small at just 3.75mm OD
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
Clean
Both connectors are fine, all contact areas clean
I do notice the boot of the XLR (plastic based) has a small piece missing, this will not affect the functionality of the lead
Nice all metal RCA male connector (I am pretty sure this is an old model RS-PRO connector) is in great shape.
NO damage (nicks etc) to the cable sheath
All solder connections look to be fine
Now that my inspection is complete, it has been packed into a sealed plastic packet ready to do some audio work once again!
