BACKGROUND

To many this item might be a worthless piece of excess Aluminium but I am very big on reusing or repurposing old electronic components and hardware, from the point of view of sustainability - if it still functions and a purpose can be found for the item, it seems so wasteful to toss such items in the "bin to heaven" where all discarded electronic items live!

Nice heatsink which is specifically designed and pre-drilled for TO-3 package devices which require a bit of help dissipating excess heat, we used these by the bucket full in the past in some of our power modules.
