Australian Original release (not the later reissue)
Standard fire engine Red cassette case is in good condition, meaning there are no pieces missing although I can see one short crack on the lower spine area (but not a serious issue) and practically without any scuff marks or scratches at all. Black clamshell has a Yellow-Black printed paper label on each side of the shell.
The clamshell is the plastic welded type, this means that ever you needed to get inside (lube job etc) then your chances of "opening her up" to undertake some maintenance are not the greatest and you will probably end up destroying the clamshell if you try to do this.
Before playing I repacked the tape (wound fully forward then backwards to the beginning so that the tape is re-tensioned) and carefully visually inspected the clamshell, rollers and head pressure pad - no issues with the shell or tape at all.
I have played the ENTIRE tape, all program material, and the audio is clean and the sound quality is very good... no problems heard at all with "drop outs" and the program material has been played entirely on both Side A & Side B
TRACKS: Stringybark Creek (The Ballad Of Ned Kelly), Annie, Van Dieman's Land, Lime Juice Tub, The Flying Pieman, Bushfire, Past Carin', Hard Luck Stories, Wild Horses, Fannie Bay
