BACKGROUND:
Johnson Brothers began their pottery in 1883 and became one of the major high quality works in England, eventually (in 1968) becoming part of the Wedgwood Group of companies. These plates are "contemporary" and were part of the Eternal Beau dinner setting. Unlike some other English potteries at this time period, these were made in England and production was not outsourced to lower production cost countries.
Being a contemporary product for general dining table use, they are designed to be dishwasher and microwave safe.

Earthenware and opaque, meaning if you hold these to the light, you cannot see a shadow of your fingers through the china.

Design was by Sarina Macheroni, a New York based home furnishings designer, and it was given the name Eternal Beau - creating what was to become a very popular design of dinnerwares. Sarina passed away 10 years ago, in 2016.
I am unsure if Sarina also had a "say" in the shape of the plates, but this also sets them apart from many other dinnerwares with the octagonal shaping, ridged topside around the rim and the Olive Green linework around the outer edges.
Both of the plates I am offering measure 8" diagonally.

COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
Clean
NO cracks
NO chips
NO crazing (a bit "young" for crazing to have begun!)
NO damage or wear was observed to the decorations on either plate
NO fleabites
Both plates do have LIGHT usage marks (knife cuts) in the central area but none of these marks are particularly serious or significant.
