Measured horn diameter 4.75" (PAR 38)

Complete with ballast and start electronics - in addition to "standard" PAR 38 lamps, this can is also suitable for metal halide or fluorescent lamps (soft light or specialised lighting such as UV flood effects)

Fitted with a VS Z150 igniter

The PARCAN suits use with "normal" PAR 38 lamps, Metal Halide lamps, CFL lamps or LED based PAR 38 ES lamps

Quick release rear access to the CAN body

Fitted with a 1 metre 240V AC power lead/standard GPO 3 pin plug (earthed)

LAMP IS NOT INCLUDED

The big "plus" with PAR 38 lamps is that they are commonly available from retail outlets, in various types ranging from spot to flood (with various colour temperatures) and in power ranges of 75W to 300W and they are low cost.

You can also use a physically smaller lamp than the PAR 38 - for my testing, one of my test lamps was a small Philips CFL with ES base

Florescent lamps (CFL), such as used for flood Ultra Violet illumination, will also work fine - the key is that ES screw base

These PAR 38's are for relatively short distance lighting, usually in the range of 10 feet to an absolute maximum of around 20 feet - for larger lighting areas a PAR 64 system should be used (much higher power options)

Hardware is supplied for mounting to a light bar or truss

Great for that "retro" small stage use or in the home environment for outdoor deck "mood" lighting or in the "man cave" as part of a theme

No wiring required, just screw in the lamp you wish to use/plug in the lamp and you are in business!

COSMETIC CONDITION:

This PARCAN has been in my storage units for quite a while but I have given it a rough polishing (with metal cleaner) and it looks pretty good. Further polishing will bring the finish up even more.

No damaged parts and no parts are missing

TESTING:

Tested with various lamp types, both filament, discharge and florescent with no issues at all

Condition exactly as described Non-returnable used product
