Hot Records were an Australian label specialising in indie artists and have previously released material from classic indie artists such as The Celibate Rifles, Ed Kuepper, The Aints, Tangled Shoelaces, The Apartments, The Saints, The End, The Triffids and so many more ...

The majority of the artists on this compilation are female solo performers, dominated by smooth or blues jazz, but not limited to this genre ... nice music which you don't hear very often unless you 'seek it out'

Artists from various countries including USA, UK, Canada and Norway with notable Australian inclusions being Seaman Dan, King Curly, Merri-May Gill, Rebecca Hancock and of course, Ed Kuepper

Australian release

J card case and the front insert are in very good condition. This cover has not only the artist and song(s) peformed but the album release title, catalogue number and the label it was released on.

CD media is in good (minus) condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see handling scuff marks across the entire data area. This media has not been cared for but the most important thing is "does it play ok?" The answer is an absolute yes! I have played the ENTIRE release (while observing the BLER), every single track, and there are NO issues with playback at all - no glitches, no skipping, just beautiful music!
