SLIM DUSTY - Live At Wagga Wagga
Axis Records
Cat# TC-AXIS-6017 (Code 1901)
19xx (not indicated on the packaging but the original release was 1972)
Australian release
Unlike the original release, the insert has a bright Purple/Pink background colouring
Standard clear cassette case is in very good condition, meaning there are no cracks or pieces missing, practically without any scuff marks or scratches at all. White clamshell has a White label with Blue text print on each side of the shell.
The clamshell is the plastic welded type, which is not good if you needed to get inside because it is likely that any attempt to open up the clamshell will result in it's total destruction (for lubing etc)
Before playing I repacked the tape (wound fully forward then backwards to the beginning so that the tape is re-tensioned) and carefully visually inspected the clamshell, rollers and head pressure pad - no issues with the shell or tape at all.
I have played the ENTIRE tape, all program material, and the audio is clean and the sound quality is very good... no problems heard at all with "drop outs" or high frequency loss and the program material has been played entirely on both Side A & Side B
TRACKS: Good Old Country Style, Sweeney, The Drover's Cook, Gum Trees By The Roadway, When The Rain Tumbles Down In July, Somewhere Between, A Pub With No Beer, L.A. International Airport, How Will I Go With Him Mate?, Ned Kelly Was A Gentleman, If I Only Had A Home Sweet Home
