Ex broadcast industry - great for LNB RF splitting to multiple receivers

Cross Technologies Inc

Designed & Manufactured in USA

1584 Series - Model 29S

Multi-AC input 100 ~240V SMPS

Strong (and heavy) all steel case

If you have a satellite signal where the LNB IF is in the range 950Mhz - 2.05Ghz (pretty standard for Ku & C band LNB's) and need to supply that signal to multiple satellite receivers without the problems associated with signal loss when using passive splitters, this equipment is what you need.

The S suffix indicates that this model has NO LNB power insertion facility

1RU Rack mount x 290mm deep

Professional active RF LNB signal splitter

IF range 950Mhz - 2050Mhz which suits most Ku & C band LNB's

In-Band Characteristics

Gain: 0 dB ± 1.0 dB

Frequency Response: ± 1.0 dB (950Mhz - 2.05 GHz)

± 0.5 dB any 20 MHz increment

Port to Port Isolation> 18 dB, 20 dB typ

Dual RF/IF inputs to 8 x 2 outputs - these are arranged as two independent sets i.e 1x LNB RF input to 8x ouputs and another 1x LNB RF input to 8x outputs

Two monitor outputs are also available at the front panel

0dB gain

Surge suppressors on each input to protect against HV transients

All splitter outputs are AC coupled - no DC is present on the outputs

75 Ohm impedance inputs and outputs

F type female connectors used throughout

AC operation (fused) via the rear IEC male connector

Single power supply - no redundancy built in.

COSMETIC CONDITION:

In excellent condition, no damage to the all steel casing and no damaged connectors etc

TESTING:

NO power ON-OFF switch, always ON operation

Powers up fine.

SMPS (PSA45A) has been checked and is the correct DC voltage output (23.5V)

Green led is lit

Connected a stock standard Ku satellite system LNB and checked for correct signals on each of the outputs, everything is fine although I had to make "arrangements" to send power up to the LNB because this splitter does not have in-built power for the LNB.

Designed for the commercial or professional satellite receiver installation as this unit is rack mounted, heavy and quite large.

Currently still available on the Cross Technologies product catalogue with a list price of US$1175

Condition exactly as described Non-returnable used product
