Standard clear cassette case is in good condition, meaning there are no cracks or pieces missing, although a scuff mark "here and there". Clear clamshell that has the text pad printed in White directly onto the clamshell.
The clamshell is the plastic welded type, this means that ever you needed to get inside (lube job etc) there is (for all practical purposes) no way to get inside the clamshell without completely destroying it.
Before playing I repacked the tape (wound fully forward then backwards to the beginning so that the tape is re-tensioned) and carefully visually inspected the clamshell, rollers and head pressure pad - no issues with the shell or tape at all.
The audio is clean and the sound quality is very good, so good to hear Kate "doing her thing" once again ... No problems heard at all with "drop outs" and the program material has been played entirely on both Side A & Side B
Most of Side B is instrumental in nature with Side A having the vocals
Note that when the program reaches the end of Side A playtime, there is quite an extended length of tape still to run (blank of course) so you either need to wait a while before turning over the tape or wait if you are using an autoplay feature.
Quite a long run time on each side, around 40 minutes, so this must be a base C90 type of tape (which explains the 5 minutes or so "run on")
Another thing I noticed was the manufacturing "stepped" frequency tones at the beginning are also repeated at the end of each side - this is quite unusual.
