It is easy to forget but having had a good listen lately to Frank's performances, he really did have such a great voice! Nice laid back album for the next dinner party.
FRANK SINATRA - In The Wee Small Hours
Capitol Records
Cat# TC-VMP-1040
1977
Monaural sound (identical sound on both channels)
Australian release (Reissue of the 1955 original)
Standard clear cassette case is in good condition, meaning there are no cracks or pieces missing, although a scuff mark "here and there". White clamshell text is on a Cream coloured paper label each side.
The clamshell is plastic welded, this means that ever you needed to get inside (lube job etc) there is not much chance of opening it up without destroying the clamshell - currently there are no problems but in the future ...
Before playing I repacked the tape (wound fully forward then backwards to the beginning so that the tape is re-tensioned) and carefully visually inspected the clamshell, rollers and head pressure pad - no issues with the shell or tape at all.
The audio is clean and the sound quality is very good, and there were no problems heard at all with "drop outs" and the program material has been played entirely on both Side A & Side B
