BACKGROUND
Sustainability is the name of the game! Anything (that has been tested and still functioning properly) should be repurposed creating saving in wasted Ee and reducing the poisoning our environment when items are buried in the earth at the local tip needlessly.
Never heard of Ee? It is a concept that creates a measurement of ALL things (not just electronics) that humans have made and the energy used in obtaining the raw material, processing the materials right through to a finished product and even should include the shipping of the item to the distributors/retailers.

This mono jack socket is new, unused, old stock.
I am in the process of clearing out all of the old stock from the workshop drawers, cabinets, boxes etc and making sure they go off to begin a new life in someone else's workshop!
RS PRO (UK) are well known in the professional audio industry, often offering products that are "own branded" sourced as OEM supplies from high quality manufacturers, in this case RE'AN UK.
I also have just one of these sockets branded by the original manufacturer, Re'an UK and it is identical in every respect to this mono socket. You can see the RE'AN version HERE

Enclosed frame
2 conductor, Mono
Tip - Sleeve (one channel)
Double switch contacts, normally closed
Metal front nut is completely ISOLATED from the Signal ground or hot audio paths
PCB mounting
Supplied with the mounting hardware i.e Black plastic face (bevelled) washer plus 2x fibre washers.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW old stock
All metal work is clean and shiny
PCB pins are ready for insertion into a PCB
This socket is now packed into a sealed clear plastic packet, awaiting a new workshop to live in!
