Oh Dear! This item has been sold but take a look around for other similar items

Retro disco ball mount with motor and lead intended for use with a suitable spotlight, similar to the spotlight HERE

Remember the day? Walk into a hall (this was way before the club scene as it is today) and up on the ceiling is those balls made of many segments of glass mirrors upon which a spotlight was focused, the effect? Lots of little splashes of light rotating all around the room (Saturday Night Fever)

Fantastic for a great retro party!!

UNKNOWN MANUFACTURER - Disco Mirror Ball Mount (including motor and power lead)

240V AC operation (standard 3 pin plug)

Motor type: 03

Rated for 220 ~ 240V operation

LUO SHE ELECTRIC IND. CO. LTD (pretty good guess that it is Chinese made)

Metal gearing

Rotational speed is marked as 3 RPM but I believe this to be when running at 60Hz, on our 50Hz AC supply I have measured the rotation to be 2.4 RPM or approximately 25 seconds per revolution - great speed for that glittering mirror ball above the dance floor!

Motor is riveted to the metal body mounting, not easily removable!

Mount Dimensions:

107mm diameter

40mm deep

Split ring (for attaching the mirror ball) 28mm diameter

Split ring sits 12mm clear of the body mount on a chrome shaft

Choice of 6 4.5mm OD mounting holes around the outer rim

Split ring for attachment of the glass mirror ball (just about any size ball will fit)

NOT INCLUDED:

Glass Mirror Ball

Light source e.g spotlight of some type - anything will do, depends upon the effect you wish to create (white light through to multi-coloured lighting but nothing fancy is need here)

COSMETIC CONDITION:

Clean

NO damage to the body

NO damage to the motor

NO damage to the power lead/plug

TESTING:

Used only a couple of times, runs perfectly and silently (Ok, there is a very low level whirring as the gears rotate within the motor!)

Plenty of torque, when turned on it is very difficult to make the shaft 'stall'

Non returnable unless found to be not as described
