USED Workshop & production tool

Although used, it is in "like new" condition!

This is a nifty tool for the professional electronics technician but equally at home with the hobbyist.

This tool has one purpose in life, to allow the user to unscrew the nuts inside the top of collet knobs.

Every broadcast technician knows these tools very well, collet knobs are used extensively in professional audio and broadcasting equipment.

Just flip off the top cap of the collet knob, this exposes the nut inside which has a slot on either side. Insert this tool and the two fingers will "mate" with the slots on the nut and turn away .... off comes your collet knob.

UNIDENTIFIED MANUFACTURER - Nut Driver

Solid stainless steel construction

Knurled hand grip area

The end of this hollow shaft has two small "fingers" - these mate with the collet knob nut

NOTE: Although a very nice tool to use, watch out if you are using this near a medium~high voltage source as there is no insulation on the tool at all!

DIMENSIONS:

Overall length: 105mm

Shaft Length: 14.75mm

Shaft diameter: 6.65mm

NOTE: the diameter is important because collet knobs come in different diameters. This nut driver suits the smaller size knobs and some variation of the diameter is allowable because you can "wiggle" the fingers around to grip a slightly larger knob if need be. This driver will NOT fit the medium to larger size collet knobs though - I have another nut driver advertised HERE which may suit your purposes.

COSMETIC CONDITION:

USED but like new

CLEAN

NO damage to the handle, shaft or fingers (not surprising really, this is one VERY TOUGH tool!)

As I don't expect to be using this again it has now been placed into a sealed plastic packet ready for a new owner who can make use of it

USED Clean Exactly as described
