HISTORY:
This piece of hardware is an interesting light pipe from Bivar Inc in USA which has been extracted from the EATON ePDU (USA) that I have had here for ages (new) but no-one had an interest in it (probably because it was designed for a 3 phase supply)
I decided it was time to undergo "the operation" and the EATON ePDU is no more, items of interest are now being offered separately.
This item is basically new, the equipment it came from was new and never used, no-one seemed to want it ... sad! All is not lost, in my quest to be as sustainable as possible, I have extracted this innovative product from Bivar Inc, over in Trumpland. This company designs and produces some really interesting products centered around getting light from one area to another.

With this item it is all about getting the light emitted by a PCB mounted LED across to a front panel, the 15cm fiber light tube being flexible so you can bend it to almost any configuration you may want.
Of course it's use is not limited to just LED emitted light, any light source can be directed to the front lens using this light pipe.

All of the specific identification coding is printed onto the outside of the light pipe.
You will notice in one of the photographs that the light pipe can be extracted from the PCB mounting block, so that adjustments can be made regarding the distance between the light pipe and light emission source. You could even do away with the mounting block and devise your own mounting to suit a customised project.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
"As" NEW never been put to use i.e no photons have passed this way!
Clean
NO damage or "nicks" to the light pipe, PCB mount or the lens assembly.
To maintain the current condition I have now placed this light pipe into a sealed clear plastic packet.
