Cream base colouring
Tab handled
Central decoration has a Lemon Yellow band of colour onto which have been hand decorated Red-Pink roses and other flowers typically found in a summer English garden.
The dish is finished with edge Gold gilding plus further gilding on each tab handle
MEASUREMENTS:
223mm (almost 9") x 130mm (just over 5")
Quite a shallow dish at approximately 15mm (around 1/2") deep
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
Clean
NO cracks
NO decoration damage observed at all
NO fleabites on the underside
NO crazing observed to the top or underside - pretty amazing after almost 100 years!
Practically no observable wear to the Gold gilding
A very nice example of Woods Ivory Ware from the 1930's period
