This is a "general purpose" UHF CB portable transceiver for use by ordinary folk and a licence to operate is not required, unlike other radio communication services.
Designed by Uniden, Japan, this model is specifically for the Australian & New Zealand Citizen Band use. This transceiver was sourced (part of a bulk purchase in April 2025) through an authorised Uniden retailer in Australia - this is NOT a "grey market" device.
We had a client who needed a number of these in a hurry for their on-site communications and ended up with one transceiver pack left over - this one.
It has been opened only to check the contents and take an inside photograph or two - the internal packaging has not been opened (component wrappings, screen protector strip etc)
Of course this has the normal full manufacturers warranty (3 years)
There is plenty of information online about these portable transceivers but in short, they are tough, rugged, IP54 certified (splashproof NOT waterproof, but then who goes swimming with their portable radio?) with all the expected features from a high quality Uniden product - a well respected name in the world of radio communications for both consumers and professionals alike.
This product contains everything you need to start communicating with others on the Citizen Band in Australia & NZ. In the future you can even add (optional and not included) a speaker microphone so you can walk around communicating without holding the UH755 in your hand, just like the Security and Law Enforcement personnel. Another option that many add to a portable transceiver such as this is an antenna which provides more "gain" - meaning that you can extend the range of communication with these.
Always handy to have around if you are working in an outdoors environment and need to have reliable, straight-forward communications. But the uses are not just limited to outdoor workers ... these can be extremely handy when going "off-road" for leisure or even during times of a National weather emergency. Remember the floods in Northern NSW not so long ago - when all other means of communication for the average "Joe Blow" were down, people still managed to stay in touch using their own CB radios.

COSMETIC CONDITION:
Purchased in April 2025, and as you would expect, in "New" condition, having only opened the box to check the contents and in fact if you look at the front view photograph, top right corner, the retail price sticker ($179) remains in place.
Clean
To maintain this condition, I have placed this product into a sealed clear plastic package to keep it in pristine condition - it will be shipped the same way.
