Ex workshop spare parts drawers
A tricky one ... the part numbers printed on the device do not match up with anything I know of (see the photograph below)
Perhaps you are servicing some gear and come across an exact same device that needs replacing, yeah! here is the solution.
My thoughts are that this would be a driver transistor and most likely audio related as most gear we worked on was in that realm.
