Why "part out" such components?
I am very much "into" sustainability, a manufactured component (no matter how small) represents an appreciable amount of embedded energy and to waste that embedded energy is a very bad thing, even worse is to bury it in landfill and subsequently poison our environment!
What is embedded energy?
Embedded energy is a measurement of the total energy that was used to create a component, a module or a complete piece of equipment originally and should include all processes used in the manufacture of the item, from obtaining the raw materials, processing them, making the product and then shipping to another manufacturer in the "chain" or being supplied directly to stores as a finished product for retail sale.

Country of origin is unknown (although most likely these are Chinese origin)

There is also a limited number of Black "top plugs" (so that the banana socket cannot be accessed). These are fairly simple plastic plugs that friction fit inside the top banana socket, tightly (removal of these needs to be undertaken with care).
In the interests of maximum flexibility (at the request of folks looking at these things on my website), the Red or the Black terminal posts and the top plugs are ALL purchasable individually, meaning that if you just want one terminal post you are not forced to purchase a set of two.
Materials: Thermoplastic with Gold plated contact areas and designed for use with a rear solder tag "eye", this tag is not supplied (readily available from many sources)
NO isolation from the mounting panel so these need to be fitted to a non-conducting substrate.
DIMENSIONS:
Hexagonal shaped top section, the part that screws/unscrews, and this measures 12.2mm diagonally x 12.75 height, this is the height that the terminal post will protrude from the mounting panel.
The diameter of the metal central post is 7.75mm OD
This top section can be unscrewed to fully reveal the hole for the speaker wiring but the section will not "fall off" the central post as it's travel is prevented from passing the thread end point.
The hole through this post (for hard wiring of the speaker connections) is 5mm OD - this is a pretty decent sized speaker wire.
Top side, the terminal post can accept a "standard" banana plug unless one of the Black top plugs has been fitted, in which case no banana plug insertion is possible.
The circular Gold plated metal flange which butts up against the mounting panel measures 11.9mm OD
On the underside of this flange is a 5.25mm OD solid section with two sides flattened (measuring 3.6mm across) and the length of this solid section is 1mm. This section is shaped to fit into a corresponding hole on the mounting panel and "lock" itself into position. Everything is held securely using the supplied spring washer and metal nut.
I did not save the "eye" tabs for the soldered connections as these are easily obtainable from electronic hobbyist or even hardware stores.

Clean
NO thread damage (free, smooth movement across the entire length) to both the upper section or the lower section which has the locking washer and nut fitted.
NO physical damage to the top thermoplastic body of the terminal post
NO physical damage to any of the Black top plugs
All metal contact areas (banana socket and the post hole for hard wiring) are clean and bright
Each item is supplied individually packed into clear, sealed plastic packets - not as a set of two for example.
