My YAMAHA P200 has been on the "operating table" (workshop) but she couldn't be saved, the dust cover was damaged, platter was missing! and the headshell/cartridge had also gone AWOL. Nothing more could be done for "her" so she has become an "organ donor" in the hope that some of these parts may give new life to another P200

I am very "big" on sustainability, re-using or re-purposing equipment (no matter how trivial or old it may be) because a LOT of EE (Embodied Energy) was used to create this module and to throw something like this away, poison our landfill with plastics and a myriad of other manmade substances is just so irresponsible and such a waste of expended energy. Everything we humans have created required energy (and raw materials) for it's creation and often that amount of energy (EE value) is surprisingly high (Aluminium for example). So after using those raw materials and expending considerable energy to create an item, we then throw it away, burying it in the earth! Such terrible wastage.

Front panel fascia (Front Central location)
This front fascia has no functional purpose other than visual, it makes the turntable look "smart"
Interestingly, in the centre is a White panel through which light can pass but the turntable has no lamp inside so I think this panel was used on other models from Yamaha but with different text of course. Just for fun, I did "backlight" this area of the fascia and you can clearly view from the front the text TIMUM MASS ST - definitely no use backlighting with this turntable!
Secured to the plastic plinth of the P200 using 2x screws (provided) and 4x plastic lock fingers.
COSMETIC CONDITION:

Clean
NO physical damage to the fascia or the securing fingers (treat these with respect, it is old plastic and likely to be brittle after all these years)
Front clear perspex has a couple of very light marks or scratches, these are not really significant - not perfect but pretty damn fine looking!
NO cracks or other much more serious issues with the all plastic construction
I have now placed this onto a stiff cardboard base and then sealed within clear plastic to maintain the overall condition of this fascia.
