Side Plate
Hand decorated
Hexagonal "Flower petal" shaped
Central decoration is dominated by two flowers, one Pink and the Other White. Framing these two flowers are a number of smaller multi-coloured flowers with foliage.
Framing this decoration is a circular band of Gold gilding.
The remaining area on the top side of the plate has a Baby Pink wash and the edges have heavy feathered Gold gilding applied.
Measures: 153mm width (6 inches)
BACKSTAMP

The backstamp suggests this side plate was produced during the period of the late 1930's or early 1940's - the beginning of WWII period.
CONDITION:
NO cracks
NO crazing
NO fleabites observed
NO discolouration to the Baby Pink wash
Gold gilding (both the inner circular band and the outer rim feathered gilding) is in very good condition with no handling wear apparent.
Some very light knife cut marks in the central area of the plate.
A nice example of china tableware from Salisbury from almost 100 years ago!
