The Ridgway family was one of the important dynasties manufacturing Staffordshire pottery, with a large number of family members and business names, over a period from the 1790s to the late 20th century. While this relatively contemporary teaset trio is a very late production piece from one of the Ridgway potteries, it represents a significant piece of English pottery history spanning 200 years.
This offering is actually a trio BUT you can purchase any individual piece or the complete trio together (discounted when purchasing them together)

The base colouring of the teacup & saucer is a brilliant White.
Pattern (name is not indicated on the pieces but the teacup does have the pattern number indicated in Lime Green, 8230) and some online references indicate this pattern was called Pink Peony. The primary decoration comprises one dominant Pink-Red rose bud fully opened, along with foliage. There is a secondary decoration on the opposite side of the teacup with features two similarly coloured buds which are both tightly closed.
Gold gilding has been hand applied to the outer rim of the saucer and the mouth rim, back & left side only of the handle, finished with a band of Gold around the base of the teacup.
Overall this a pretty standard decorative layout for these Royal Vale's from this era
