HISTORY:
My wife is cleaning out our "overgrown" collection of mainly English chinaware because she has quality chinaware coming out of our ears!
She has collected quite a bit of Royal Doulton over the years but is now "thinning out" her collection, preferring to focus on the older chinaware, pre 1930's
DLAT Rating: 9.9/10 (Darling, Look At This!)

ROYAL DOULTON - Teacup, Saucer & Side Plate
Made in England (not "off-shore" as happened with some companies during this period)
Standard English "one cup" teacup, not demitasse!
I am offering one complete trio, every piece is available separately (= maximum purchasing flexibility) and if the complete trio is purchased, the price is automatically discounted in the checkout.
Translucent (you can easily see the shadow of your fingers when any piece is held to a bright light)
Series: H5035
Royal Doulton produced a number of other patterns under the H5035 series e.g Braemar, these Counterpoint's are a little more difficult to find.
Pattern: Counterpoint
Instead of trying to describe the design, here is a closeup photograph

NO pieces have Gold gilding, instead Royal Doulton has decorated the rims on all pieces with Platinum.
The base is a fine bone china, brilliant White (not Cream(ish) in appearance)
BACKSTAMP DETAILS:
Here is a photograph of the backstamp used on these pieces ...

COSMETIC CONDITION:
The following condition report relates to all or any of the three pieces ... if any flaws are noticed with a particular piece, it will be noted after this main report
USED
CLEAN
NO cracks at all
NO discolouration to the bright White base colouring
NO tannin stains inside the teacup
NO chips to any of the pieces
NO damage or wear to the decorations on any piece

This contemporary (well, 40 odd years is a youngster in our books) "Counterpoint" Royal Doulton teaset trio is in very good condition, showing barely any signs of useage.
