Well known for their extremely popular Country Roses series, Royal Albert produced much more than Country Roses, this creamer jug is from the much more recent Val D'or design, produced from the early 1960's until the early 2000's
It could be described as having traditional finnesse, elegance without the fancy frills. Plain, pure White bone china, usually with little decoration. In fact this creamer jug has no decoration other than the Gold gilding ... some might say "gild edged luxury for the ordinary tabletop"

Circa 1990's (although produced across a 50 year span, this creamer jug was part of my wife's teaset (not the complete dinner set!) and purchased in the late 1990's
Size: Standard measuring 85mm height x 50mm mouth with a wide pouring spout
Shape: Val D'or
Bone China
Translucent, meaning that if held to the light you can easily see the shadow of your fingers through the china
Gold gilded top rim, handle top and back, heavy band around the foot
No decorative work at all, plain pure White all over
Arched handle (but not as distinctive as the Countess style)
Weight: 125g

NO cracks
NO chips
NO signs of glazing breakdown (Dry and Wet)
NO discolouration to the pure White china
NO unsightly stains or discolouration inside the jug
Gold gilding is practically unworn.
