ROXETTE - The Big L
EMI Records
Cat# 2644-4

Australian release
Simple wrap around cassette packaging is in good condition, this means that there are no tears, no seam splits and no personal writing however there has been a "dab" of Whiteout applied Marie's forehead!
Before playing I repacked the tape, and carefully visually inspected the clamshell, rollers and head pressure pad - no issues with the shell or tape at all BUT ...
I can see that sometime in the past a staff member did "lube" this cassette, I guess because it had transport issues and as this is a plastic welded type clamshell (which are next to impossible to get "inside") they have squirted a spray we used to have on hand for these situations, a teflon based lubricant. Usually this worked well but it leaves a Whitish residue behind and you can see this inside the clamshell.
The audio is clean and sounds "ok" although I had the impression that the highs were a little lacking, it's sometimes difficult to tell at my age! There are no problems at all with "drop outs" and the program material has been played on both Side A & Side B (repeated)
