HISTORY:
My primary interests have always been electronics and the 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.
I am not a film enthusiast but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film items ... this is one of those items.
WARNING (The Gamble)
While sorting through the myriad of lamps the owner had as spares for his various projection systems, I came across this lamp which was NOT in the original packaging. I tried to ask him about this one but he has serious health issues to worry about and lamps are not at the forefront of his mind at the moment - understandably!
So, it must be assumed this lamp has been used ... the question is, how many hours has it already seen in use?
This is the gamble, while the lamp may go phut! after one hour of work or work for fifty hours, it's all in the hands of fate ...
I have made a basic resistance test (cold is 0.8 Ohm) and checked for any obvious physical signs of future failure points but nothing has been seen.
The lamp has been "put to bed" in a little custom polystyrene "bed" and then sealed in clear plastic. When sending this lamp, it will be in an outer strong cardboard box.
