HISTORY:

My primary interests have always been electronics and the 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.

I am not a film enthusiast but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film items ... this is yet another one of those items.

One of his machines was the TITAN TRIMATIC silent projector which just had too many issues to warrant having it serviced so it is now sitting on the workbench undergoing "the operation" i.e it is becoming an organ donor for other TITAN projectors.

First cab off the rank is the dust cover ...

TITAN (Japan) - Projector Dust Cover

Made in Japan

Circa 1970's

All vinyl construction

Although all vinyl, I did not notice any signs of the vinyl failing (splitting or becoming brittle)

Originally fitted to the Trimatic projector but I suspect other TITAN models will comfortably accept this dust cover as well ... that is for the new owner to sort out

DIMENSIONS:

Rectangular shaped with White vinyl beading at the corners

310mm x 150mm x 190mm height

Handle cutout (top) measures 285mm x 25mm wide

A side pocket is fitted to each side of the dust cover (for reels etc)

There are no "zippers" or closing pockets

COSMETIC CONDITION:

This dust cover is over 50 years old and not the strongest material has been used but it is actually in pretty good condition.

CLEAN

Free of any marks or personal writing at all - nice

Just ONE small, short tear in the vinyl was noticed right at the base, in one of the corners. I wouldn't consider this to be a major flaw - see one of the photographs

I have now carefully and sensibly folded up this dust cover and placed it within a sealed clear plastic packet to maintain the current condition.
