SHINDENGEN - Bridge Rectifier
Country of origin: Japan
Single Phase
Part: D5FB10
Schottky Diode based bridge rectifier
Vrm 100V
Io 5A average
Lower diode voltage drop compared to "standard" bridges, typically 1.05V for the two diodes in each path, I actually had measured voltages slightly less than this ... see below in the testing section.
PCB (Vertical) mount
Solid Aluminium heatsink is integral, this heatsink can also be mounted onto a separate larger heatsink for additional thermal cooling.
1.3mm diameter wire leads (4x) x 13mm length (currently formed so if made straight, a slight increase in lead length is possible)
DIMENSIONS (Body excluding leads):
30mm x 30mm x 10mm height
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
Removed from professional JVC broadcast industry equipment
NO body damage
Previous Silicon grease has been removed!
Leads are secure, have not been stressed at the point of entry into the epoxy underside, and relatively clean from solder "dags"
TESTING:
Being a used component, I have tested each bridge (all four diodes) and all is good, note the voltage drop is much lower than for a standard Silicon diode. I was expecting around 0.55V but actually read 0.49 ~ 0.5V creating a voltage drop of just under 1.0V for two diodes in each path - nice!
These are now stored on a styrofoam strip, which is within a sealed clear plastic packet.
