TELSTRA - Wall plugpack
Input: 240V AC 50Hz
Output: 48V DC on a 2 metre flying lead
Intended for use with telecommunications equipment, 48V DC being pretty standard for wired voice circuits although increasingly being used in the EV industry, datacentres etc (although at much higher currents)
The specialised equipment this plugpack was used with is long gone but this may provide a good, compact source of 48V DC if high current is not a requirement.
250mA maximum current (12VA)

NO damage to the main body, the 2x AC pins or the two metre flying lead with a polarised molex connector fitted to the end.
TESTING:
As this plugpack has been out of service for quite a while, I have made basic tests of the plugpack
DC Voltage Output (NO LOAD) 57.8V
DC Voltage Output (FULL LOAD) 47.7V
NO buzzing or other strange noises when under full load although the 200 Ohm load resistor I used was a little under-rated and became hot very quickly!
