Some time ago we acquired two photographs (this one and UFO) created by Stephen, however we just don't have the space to do justice to these stunning creations and we never did get the time to have them framed and hung ... they need a new home/wall to hang on!
STEPHEN LEUPEN - Original Photographic print
Created: 19th July 2017, Printed: 30th July 2017
Title: LAUREL HILL
If you are not aware of this popular tourist area, it is simply stunning. The closely grouped Sugar Pines are awe inspiring, makes you feel very small when walking amongst them! The colours in this photograph remain bright and vibrant, the scene captured looks quite surreal but it has not been "doctored" - this is a real life image. When viewing this photograph I couldn't help but think of that expression "light at the end of the tunnel" No matter what life throws at you, keep walking through the trees and eventually you will come out bathed in daylight - nice! A very inspirational photograph
Oh, here is a very similar scene of the forest taken by another photographer
and a map to give an idea of where you can find this awe inspiring forest (when it isn't snowing or a bush fire hasn't been through the area!)
