Sheffield are reknown for the high quality (and at the time a quality low cost alternative to Sterling) One of the many Silversmiths was Slack & Barlow, they ceased operations in the mid 1990's
While this set of Silver plate teaspoons dates from the 1970's, it represents typical product from the area during those times.

COSMETIC CONDITION:
The condition report below refers to ALL of the available teaspoons (4) any special notes follow this section
NEW (?) I do not recall us using these but ...
CLEAN
ALL teaspoons are physically undamaged (not bent!)
ALL have no signs of oxidisation "pitting" or marks
NO superficial useage marks or scratches except one teaspoon (see below for my comment on this)
Original outer two part box is made from coloured cardboard, the corners are all secure and the box is still "holding it's shape" well. Inside this the light Blue cardboard clamping system for the teaspoons, this is also in very good condition.
My only negative comment would be some very light foxing type marks on the White underside of the box but these are not dramatic.
Absolutely no personal writing anywhere, other than the design name which has been hand-written on the side of the box. This name is confirmed by the stamping on the teaspoons.
ONE (only) teaspoon has a couple of very light straight-line scratches at the very end of the stem. No idea what happened here as these have just been sitting in the Silverware drawers for yonks but those scratches are there none-the-less.
Obviously I have been given the task (by my wife) to clean the teaspoons up a little (they were only slightly Yellowish in any case) using the Bi-Carb/Aluminium cleaning technique - these now ALL appear "New Like" - very presentable set of teaspoons with a great name behind them!
To preserve the current condition of the teaspoon set and reduce the oxidisation of the Silver plating, I have sealed this set within a clear plastic packet while it awaits a new owner.
