BACKGROUND:
I am slowly "working through" the workshop/production spare parts stores and here is a surprise, for me at least!
I remember using this type of connector a long, long time ago but for the most part, this lonely "leftover" has just been sitting in the parts drawers waiting for a purpose in life these days.
I cannot recall who we bought these from or even who made them and inspected the body very closely, I am none the wiser! Generic it would seem ...
GENERIC (UNKNOWN MANUFACTURER) - Centronics style Connector
Country of origin: Unknown
Part # Unknown
24 Way (2x rows of 12)
Female fingers (Gold plated)
Intended for right angle mounting onto a PCB.
Rear pins are Nickel plated
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW Old Stock
CLEAN
Due to the age these have been sitting in the spare parts drawers, I have VERY carefully checked for any signs of oxidisation and I can see very light oxidisation to the outer shell of the connector but nothing serious.
Inner contact fingers all look to be fine too
This is NOT an ongoing supply, once this solitary connector has found a new home, there will be no further supply
Packed into a sealed clear plastic packet to maintain the current condition.
