HISTORY:
Working through the boxes of electronic spare parts I have gathered together over the years, sustainability is "my thing" and you never can tell when that odd "something or rather" could come in handy one day ... well, with regard to this microphone, that day never came. I stopped being involved in radio communications many sun spot cycles ago so now it is time to see if someone else can either fit another "curly cord" or cannibalise the microphone for useful bits and pieces e.g the insert, the PTT switch mechanism, the call button or just the case.
The microphone is offered exactly as shown, no curly cord and no clip on the rear of the microphone.
GME ELECTROPHONE - Microphone "head" only
Intended for mobile communications transceivers

Estimated year of release is the late 1990's ~ early 2000's

I have now placed this microphone into a sealed clear plastic pack, awaiting a new owner who may wish to "bring it back to life" (it's alive!, it's alive! - I have been watching too many Frankenstein movies lately!)
