STEPHANE GRAPPELLI (With The Diz Disley Trio) - On The Road
Philips Records
Cat# 6357 028

Australian release
Cover is in good condition, no personal writing, no tears, no seam splits and only light handling wear to the edges.
New plastic inner sleeve
Vinyl is in good (minus) condition, this means that I have visually inspected the record under a white halogen light source and I can see just a couple of very light ~ light scratches or scuff marks on either side. Just looking at the vinyl is not a great way to judge the condition so I then played the vinyl (both sides) ENTIRELY and here I found another issue. The vinyl is NOT flat! Not a severe warp to the vinyl but a gentle, slight cupping of the vinyl i.e Side 1 plays but with this gentle 50% of each rotation - "up the hill" and 50% of the rotation - "down the hill" motion of the tonearm. I am talking gentle and no mistracking occurred at all. Side 2 plays (and looks) much better because the slight curve of the vinyl is upwards from Side 1. Now the tonearm moves across the vinyl in a relatively flat position across all tracks.
Surface noise is not an issue and there were barely any clicks n pops - a really good play from this wonderful musician.
New outer protective plastic sleeve
