I am sorting through yet another box of my test pressing collection, white label pre-production vinyl's so here is one more for you.
Why White Label?
White Label vinyl (both marked and unmarked) are fun, interesting music. Sometimes we have found mixes/remixes that never made commerical release, some didn't even get past the production stages and were never released as a commercial product.
It's also about the hunt for that great song, the one you have never heard before! White label product such as this one have the added excitment of the "hunt", finding out just who the artist/song are based on the matrix run out codes or sometimes just listening to the music and then going on an incredible audio hunt.
Our previous sound engineer used to love this White Label product, he would play the vinyl and then (without looking at the matrix codes) identify the artist song and the mix/remix etc - all part of building his musical knowledge.
Anyway, here are the details of this test pressing

Generic white cover is new, no writing, no tears, no seam splits. White record label each side is unmarked.
SPECIAL NOTE: This is a tricky pressing. Side A has Field Of Dreams recorded on it. Side AA looks like it is pressed but there is absolutely no audio at all - no music whatsoever!
In reality, this is a single sided pressing (without the normal shiny, non-groove side)
New inner sleeve
Vinyl is in very good condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light source and I can see a few light scratches on each side. Just looking at the vinyl is not good enough so I then played the ENTIRE release, no significant surface noise issues or click/pops at all.
I did play Side AA, not a single note here, the grooves are there but the music is not!
